The Margherita Agricultural Company is a small family-run business, where Beatrice with her husband Bernardo produce an excellent extra virgin olive oil which in 2013 was awarded the best oil in the Municipality of Cortona, vegetables and breed Amiatini donkeys. The Company Farm Margherita is an organic farm.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The extra virgin olive oil of our new farm has, as well as the intense green color, the spicy sensation that is derived from the presence of substances called polyphenols, the powerful natural antioxidants that contribute to guaranteeing the highest quality product. The olive harvest is still done entirely by hand.

Vegetable Production
In the rolling farm, land is worked on which the production of vegetables is carried out. As for what has been said for the olive grove, in addition to working with the tractor of the land, it provides the land of Cortona and Nature. Production reaches maximum productivity in the summer months and tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, onions, etc. are grown.

In the Margherita farm, the donkey has two fundamental tasks, which he does voluntarily and without any effort, one is to eat the grass and the other is to digest it and make it a conditioner.
